LAKES RUNNER VASQUE PARTY FUN SCORE EVENT

Spot the odd one out - Where's your wig man!!!

Saturday 15th November saw the first (and possibly last!) running of the Lakes Runner Vasque Ultra Party Fun Score Event.  This was a 1hr30min fun event set to coincide with the Ultra Running Series presentation awards held that night at Wilfs Cafe in Staveley.

A testing navigational course based both in the town and on Loughrigg fell saw many of the 'steadier' runners in the series get the upper hand over there normally quicker rivals, who it became obvious couldn't navigate there way out of a paper bag (no names mentioned)!

There were some fun prizes including one for the best comedy wig worn at all times through the event.  None of the above won (although a fine effort) as Angela Leonard and Richie Cunningham turned up as Miss Piggy and Alice Cooper respectively!!!  Any way good fun was had by all, i think?
